		<description>I couldn't agree more.  A visit to the farmer's market was one of the hilights of our recent trip to Santa Fe.  In a destination that is so polished, the bustle of the market was a welcome change.  

I don't think of New Mexico as an apple state (we're from WA), but we feasted on apple varieties we'd never tried before &#38; the kids had their first "shave ice"... made with fresh apple cider instead of sickly sweet colored corn syrup.

Not only was the food great, but with very young kids (mine are 3 and 1  1/2) a picnic is always a better bet than sitting down for a restaraunt meal.</description>
