Párga is a very attractive little resort town on the coast of Epirus on the Greek mainland. Apart from its own undoubted charms, Párga is also popular as it provides a gateway to a number of attractions along the coast here, such as the remains of ancient Kassópi, the ruins of Nikópolis, the Zálongo Monastery, and the very strange and haunting Nekromanteion at Ephyra. The fascinating city of Ioánnina is only a 90-minute drive distant, passing the ruins of ancient Dodóni on the way, one of the most impressive archaeological sites in the region.
