Extreme sports outfitters offer hang gliding, rock climbing and much more. Arosa attracts a range of tourists from around the world, from jet-setters in diamonds to snowboarders in dreadlocks. It’s especially popular with families, who enjoy the range of activities and the many family-friendly hotels. The kicker is that almost everything is free. Mountain railways, buses and most public facilities are free to overnight guests during the summer season. You can have a gourmet meal in one of the many restaurants, or picnic on local meat, bread and red wine in a flower-studded Alpine meadow.
