Or visit wineries for tours and tastings, or shop tax free in historic downtown Dover. NASCAR stock car racing is big here, with races held throughout the year at the Dover International Speedway. The most popular is the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Races held every year the last weekend in May. If you like museums there are several top quality ones here: the Biggs Museum of American Art with collections dating from the Colonial days to the present; the Delaware Archaeology Museum, which covers 11,000 years of civilization in the state; the Johnson Victrola Museum, which pays tribute to Eldridge R. Johnson who invented the Victor Talking Machine in 1901; and you can observe living history at the Delaware Agricultural Museum and village.
