The Abbe Museum is another essential stop, where you will learn about local Native American culture and history. Take the beautiful scenic drive on Park Loop Road, a 27-mile tour with breathtaking views of the coastline, mountains, and surrounding forest. Climb or drive a car to the summit of Cadillac Mountain, the tallest on the Eastern U.S. coast, and indulge in an Acadia tradition at teatime, when popovers are served on the spacious lawn of Jordan Pond House.
