(Also worth a visit is the annual frontier encampment at nearby Oconee Station State Park.) Hiking is a popular activity at Table Rock, which boasts several lengthy trails, including the 4.1-mile trail to the top of Pinnacle Mountain and the 3.6-mile trail to the crest of Table Rock Mountain. The park offers rustic cabins and nearly 100 tent and RV camping sites, with amenities and convenient access to restrooms and hot showers. Group camping is also permitted. The park has two lakes for boating and fishing - 36-acre Pinnacle Lake and 67-acre Oolenoy Lake, where bass, bream, and catfish thrive. Located 30 miles northwest of Greenville, Table Rock was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the 1930s and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a South Carolina Heritage Trust Site.
